Our Delhi Fort Tour cannot begin without a visit to the Red Fort and Purana Quila. Build in 1638 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It took 10 years to piece together this marvelous piece of architecture. Built for safety against any attack, the walls of the Fort stand upto 33 m to protect its inhabitants. We explore the grounds stamped by the glories of the Mughals and head towards Purana Quila in the evening. Built by Emperor Humayun, however it was demolished by Sher Shah Suri to build his own fort, however the construction could not be completed. Enjoy a light and sound show in the evening after exploring the grounds.
Head back for dinner and sweet sleep at the hotel.
We begin the day early with a visit planned for the Tuglaqabad Fort. Built in 1321, it is situated on a hill top and is octagonal in shape. Initially build with 52 gates by the Tughlaq dynasty. After lunch we head towards Siri Fort to experience the remains of the 1303 city. After this adventure we head towards Dilli Haat for dinner and some dance. Head back to the hotel for a good nights sleep
Build in 1546, Salimgarh Fort is one of the most pronounced forts located in Chandani Chowk in old Delhi. This fort was primarily a prison back in Aurangzeb’s time to jail his brother. After exploring the lands, we head towards Chandani Chowk for shopping and lunch at Paranthe Wali Gali to bring the most eventful end to this trip
